Words and Music by Michele Krieger 2026 This song talks about the wonderful love God has for us. I am astounded that I can never outgive God. I take a step towards him and he is already running to me with open arms. He is so generous with his love. Words and music by Michele Krieger 2026 I was reading through Psalm 139 one day - not just reading it, but pondering on it's meaning. It struck me that I am not alone, ever. I am known by God, long before I gave any thought to His existence. In that moment, I felt cherished by Him. Photo Credit - Juanita Wright You read my heart like an open book You know the words I'm about to speak So why do I run? Why do I hide? You know each step I'm about to take You've gone ahead to pr

Words and Music by Michele Krieger 2025 This song was written in response to a boy who had never known the consistency of a love that continues to show up regardless of circumstance. I wanted him to know that he matters and that he is loved. It is true for all of us. Each of us has a purpose and a plan for our lives and we are cherished. Written at a time when I was very sick and needing reassurance that God was there and was looking after me, this song came quickly and with it a flood of tears. I experienced Father God, downloading the truth of His love for me. It was very profound, and started me on this recording journey. He sees us. He knows us. He loves us. There is rest for your soul. Learning to be still is very difficult. What an understatement! It's the key to being able to refill and refuel. For me, I didn't begin learning how to be still until I was on a medical leave and had to spend time a long, extended time resting. Even then, I fought the process. Sometimes, I still do. Charis Segura - Watercolor 2025 Be still, my soul and wait, wait Quiet yourself and wait, wait Come refresh your soul Wait upon the Lord, wait, wait Be still, my soul, He’s c

Working through chronic health issues is exhausting. What's even more exhausting is fighting the process, being stubborn, or beating yourself up because you are in this frustrating place. Helplessness sets in and so can depression. I had this revelation in the middle of this. What if I stop fighting and let God comfort me? What if I can be brave and vulnerable and honest with where I am at? I had read in various places in the bible that God is the God of all comfort. Thi

I was 14 when I was first introduced to the music of Keith Green. My first album of his was called "Songs of the Shepherd" and the picture on the front was Keith holding a lamb around his shoulders. I listened to this album over and over and was so touched by the words and music that I bought the songbook and spent months learning how to play it. Life has a lot of ups and downs. I tend to get really angry with myself when I'm feeling down and discouraged. I haven't had a lot of patience in the getting well process. This song is really the battle raging in my thoughts and the deep frustration I have with myself when things are taking too long. In the midst of my wrestling, I have heard God's reassuring words to "just breathe". Jaret Aubin @jaretsphotography Sometimes I’m living free, like it’s supposed to be Then su

I was sharing at a women's event in 2025, talking about things I had learnt through the song writing process and while working through health issues. Afterwards a young woman came up to me. "Did you know that you were composing a song as you were speaking?", she asked. Then she handed me a piece of paper where she had jotted notes. Those notes became the basis for this song. Special thanks to Sara Raquel Valentine-Artiga for your inspiration. Photo Credit: Jaret Aubin @jare

I have a lot of conversations with God. I think communication is hugely important in any relationship. It sounds elementary, but you really can't hear and understand what someone is saying unless you take the time to be present and listen. To know and be known. It's such a precious thing. Laura Blackman Watercolor Art Child, call on Me, come and pray And I will listen to you Come and look for me, wholeheartedly I will be found by you For those who seek, after the Lord They

I have moments when I'm tired, when I'm grieving, when I'm frightened or very anxious. In those moments, I'm learning to remind myself that there is a place I can go for reassurance and comfort. It's to my heavenly Father's arms. "Refuge" Watercolor by Jamie Rae Harder There are times I'm so weary, I'm so tired of the fight. I know I need refreshing. I need Your Light My soul repeats this constant refrain I will run to my Refuge, to my Father's care I'll run to my Refuge, t

As my relationship with God the Father grows, it fuels a deep longing to know everything about Him and to be drawn closer and closer into relationship with Him. There is so much that I don't understand, but I am hungry to learn more. Ron Dormer Photography Let Your presence fill this place Your glory touch this heart As I worship You, As I worship You Let Your fragrance drench this soul Your aroma overflow As I worship You, As I worship You Awaken me to seek Your heart I lo

I long for consistency and constancy - It makes me feel safe. If the world has taught us anything, especially since Covid, it's that the unthinkable can happen and does. Things are not safe, people are often not safe. This made me think about what has been constant, consistent and safe in my life. God never changes his mind. He does not lie. He has committed himself to know us and he treasures us. This constancy has been a lifeline in a world where there is very little t
