I was sharing at a women's event in 2025, talking about things I had learnt through the song writing process and while working through health issues. Afterwards a young woman came up to me. "Did you know that you were composing a song as you were speaking?", she asked. Then she handed me a piece of paper where she had jotted notes. Those notes became the basis for this song.

I’m learning to listen

I’m learning to trust

So, I’m waiting in the quiet.

I’m taking in Your love

And I don’t have any answers

but I know the One who does
